For as long as I can remember, fishing and the outdoors has been my passion. You name the fishing method, I have tested it, from fishing the shorelines as a child for bluegill and trout to competing in bass tournaments throughout New England, to my now absolute addiction of chasing anything in the ocean. Offshore to inland I strive to learn everything I can about the species and how to catch them. My mission is to show my passion for our sport with an easy to use one stop website. One that allows you to purchase supplies as well as check the weather, tides and moon cycles for your area, and most importantly what fish are in season. I hope to evolve this site with suggestions from my customers, my friends and family and anyone else that lands here! It's a family event!
My daughter has been fishing with me since she was old enough to pull a sled on the ice. She has caught all types of fresh and salt water species. This girl is not afraid to cut bait, take the fish off the hook or clean squid. We have had many adventures on the water and I hope that someday when she finally gets HER boat in the water she can start to have some fishing adventures of her own.
Just for the fun of it.
I am in it for the fun of it, the thrill, the chase and the catch. While there is not always a catch, there is always a good time. Bringing home fresh tuna, tautog, sea bass or squid gives me great joy. I love to cook for my family and we always have a freezer full of fish. My wife has learned to roll sushi and we never run out of wasabi and soy sauce.
